Unscented  ·  Sensitive Skin

Made for skin that’s had enough.

Read the whole label. We’ll wait.

Two formulas, eight ingredients between them — every one a word you can read. No fragrance, no fillers, no essential oils. Hand-mixed by a dad whose family reacts to everything.

What makes it different

Nothing added. Not even a scent.

We left out everything the people we made it for react to — and kept only what the skin actually needs.

No fragrance

Not masked, not “lightly scented.” None — the single most common thing reactive skin flags.

No essential oils

The “natural” scents that still irritate as they oxidize. We skip them entirely.

No fillers or silicones

Nothing for slip, bulk, or a nicer label. Every ingredient earns its place.

Our story

It began at home, out of necessity.

David and his girls all have very sensitive skin, and even the brands that promised to be the gentlest still left it irritated. The girls have sensory issues, too, and couldn’t stand the feeling of anything on their skin — right down to the scratch of a beard against a forehead at goodnight. Store shelves never had the answer, because the products sold for sensitive skin aren’t truly made for it. So he made his own: the beard oil and the moisturizer, both by hand — a gel that sinks in completely and stays put, even through frequent handwashing.

That’s the whole reason we make what we make. When us girls take an interest in something, David finds a way to create a version we can actually use — no fragrance, no fillers, nothing that stings.

Why us

Even the award-winners
aren’t this clean.

We read the labels of the hyaluronic serums and oils the major magazines named best of 2025–2026, checking for the things reactive skin tends to flag. Ours came out shorter, gentler, and a fraction of the price.

The shortest list.

Our gel moisturizer is five ingredients; the ranked winners run from 8 to 70. Fewer things means fewer things to react to.

No fragrance, alcohol, silicone or dye.

Several “best for sensitive skin” picks still carry drying alcohol or fragrance. Ours carries none of the four.

A fraction of the price.

About $11 an ounce — roughly a tenth of the prestige “Best Overall” at ~$120/oz.

Oils built for skin, not scent.

Twelve of fifteen top-rated beard oils are fragranced. Ours is three food-grade oils, unscented, for beard and face alike.

The ingredients

Why these, and nothing else.

Every ingredient has one job. If it doesn’t do that job better than anything else we considered, it isn’t in the bottle.

Water
Gel base
The simple base that makes the gel a gel, not a grease.
Hyaluronic Acid
Humectant
Holds water against the skin, dosed near its practical max (~1%).
Glycerin
Moisture magnet
A time-tested moisture magnet that draws water into the surface.
Xanthan Gum
Texture
Gives the gel its body — texture without silicones.
Benzyl Alcohol
Preservative
A gentle preservative — one of the mildest a water gel can use. Not the drying alcohol denat. that turns up in many “sensitive skin” serums.
Sunflower Oil
Oil base (~80%)
The light, high-linoleic base of the oil — softens without clogging.
Jojoba Oil
Skin-mimic
Closest of the plant oils to skin’s own sebum, so it absorbs clean.
Vitamin E
Antioxidant
Protects the oils from going rancid and adds an antioxidant benefit.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

It shouldn’t. Sunflower and jojoba are both low on the comedogenic scale, and jojoba mimics skin’s own oil — no coconut, mineral oil, or silicones like the ones tucked into plenty of drugstore and even prestige oils.
If your skin is reactive, yes — dab a little on the inside of your forearm and wait a day. The good news: with three to five ingredients there’s far less to react to than a typical 20-to-30-ingredient formula.
Only benzyl alcohol, at a tiny amount, as the preservative that keeps a water-based gel safe. It’s not the drying alcohol (alcohol denat.) that turns up even in products magazines rank “best for sensitive skin.”
Keep it out of direct sun and best used within 6 months of opening. Small batches mean it reaches you fresh — not sitting in a warehouse the way mass-produced bottles often do.
Yes. Nothing here is ever tested on animals — it’s tested on us. The oils are plant-based; the gel is plant and mineral ingredients.
That’s who it was made for. It’s gentle enough for the sensitive skin in David’s own house, and there’s no fragrance — the single ingredient most “family” and “natural” brands still include. For young children or during pregnancy, check with your doctor first.
